This is an instruction guide for those who would like to donate through e-transfer (through your bank). The instructions are easy to follow.

NOTE: The instructions and pictures here are for the online banking system of TD Bank. For all other banks, the process should be very similar. Refer the pictures at https://www.td.com/ca/en/personal-banking/how-to/easy-web/send-interac-etransfer/

Step 1: Log in to your online banking system

Open your online banking system (e.g. TD Easyweb) through your computer or smartphone. (These instructions are for computers.) Log in to your account.

Step 2: Open the e-transfer “send money” page

On the main page, find the button for Interac e-Transfer. Click on it to open that page, and then make sure you are on the Send Money page.

(NOTE: At this point you may get a notification that you e-transfer has not been set up for your account; in this case, you will have to call your bank to set it up.)

Step 3: Add “Hindu Society Of Saskatchewan” to your account

Once you are on the Send Money page, you will have to add HSS as a recipient. Click on the “Add new” link.

On the page that opens up, fill in the following details:

Name: Hindu Society Of Saskatchewan

E-mail: donate@SLNTemple.ca (you may have to enter this twice)

Then click on the “Add” button at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: Set up your e-transfer to HSS

Once you have added HSS to your contacts, go back to the Send Money page. Enter the account you want to take money from, and the amount of money you want to transfer.

Make sure “Hindu Society Of Saskatchewan” and donate@SLNTemple.ca are the details you see on this page.

For your ease and convenience in giving - this email is set to auto deposit so you don't have to set a security question and communicate it to HSS.

Next, in the “Message” box, please leave a note about what kind of donation you are making: Lakshmi Narayan Fund, Temple Operation, Lakshmi Pooja, or general donation.

Now you can click the Next button at the bottom of the page to confirm all of these details and then send the e-transfer.
